What Makes an entrepreneur

Updated: Sep 29

Being an entrepreneur is about more than having a great idea or chasing a dream. It’s about resilience, grit, and the determination to keep going even when the road gets tough. It's waking up every day ready to take risks, solve problems, and push your limits. True entrepreneurs know that success isn’t overnight—it’s built through consistent effort, self-reflection, and growth.

The best lessons come from experience. I believe you can’t lead someone through uncharted territory if you haven’t navigated it yourself or you are still trying to navigate. Would you go to a make up artist if you did not like their make up? Would you ask for credit advice from someone who has bad credit? Would you ask for fitness advice from someone who is overweight? Well, entrepreneurship is the same. Before you become a successful entrepreneur or try to teach others, you have to walk the journey yourself and be successful at it. Your own success—whether in business or life—becomes the foundation from which you teach and inspire others.

Entrepreneurship isn’t just about “what” you do; it’s about “who” you become in the process. So build yourself up first, master your craft, and then share that knowledge from a place of authenticity and real-world success.💡💼✨
